Whole tree chips are usually purchased by us from land-clearing companies. They are often used as a ground cover away from houses, perhaps along the street. They are white/blond until they age to light grey or brown. The product will have leafs, twigs, bark, etc. since the chips are from the whole tree. It's a cheap mulch.
